Witherford Watson Mann

For having won the RIBA Stirling Prize 2013 "for the greatest contribution to British architecture in the last year," we wanted to congratulate London's Witherford Watson Mann. The project that won them the gold was their renovation of Astley Castle, a 12th century ruin in Warwickshire, creating a contemporary vacation home within the remnants of the original structure. In doing so, the designers left much of the original untouched, seemingly filling in the gaps to revive an architectural relic. For more, visit Witherford Watson Mann. Via dezeen.
