Discovered recently on Remodelista, we are predictably inspired by the home of weaver / blogger extraordinaire, Caitlin Emeritz. Author of the blog Metrode, Emeritz, along with her husband, created a home decidedly devoid of distraction. By Nendo for Emeco comes the SU stool, designed by Oki Sato and recently released at the Milan furniture fair. Conceived as an extension of Emeco's Navy Chair, the SU stool represents a system which allows the seat of each stool to be easily swapped, allowing the use of taller legs or a different seat altogether. Reclaimed oak, cork, and concrete make up the initial offers, but, Sato says, upholstered seats are on the way. For more, visit Dezeen.
